Session playing and country folk is a great way to improve your guitar playing skills. It’s how I learned to play in public and I would recommend it to all those who just want to enjoy making music and like all us musicians would prefer to play in front of an audience.

Welcome to my new guitar blog. Here I will post details of my travels and excursions in the wonderful UK folk music world and , in particular, those matters that relate to guitars and guitar playing.
